Welcome to the Lincolnshire Cat Club web site. We are a friendly club based in Lincolnshire, affiliated to the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF). New members are always very welcome. People often ask about our club logo - he is the Lincoln Imp, a gargoyle found in Lincoln Cathedral - why not search for his story?
The club committee hosts a GCCF all-breeds Championship Show each year on the second Saturday of July, attracting around 400 entries of pedigree cats and household pets. Schedules for this year's show – back-to-back with Humberside Cat Club, on July 10th at Doncaster Dome - will be available in April 2010, please send a C5 size SAE to Mrs B Rawnsley, 9 Saltergate Road, Messingham, Scunthorpe, N Lincs DN17 3SZ. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in early spring each year in the Lincoln area. All fully paid up members are informed of the time and place in advance, by post.
The club has a welfare fund, and offers support and donations when available to those adjudged by the committee to be the most deserving of cases/causes.
